Welcome to Collabtic. We have recently added more features and functions to make Collabtic even more useful and efficient for you. Here are some changes:

Forum tab will now have site-wide search, announcements, your daily metrics and several other important dashboard information for you to stay informed
Managers and Admins will now be able to author and publish announcements within Collabtic
The search bar in Forum tab searches and organizes search results by Threads and TechData
All the threads are now visible under the new tab 'Threads'
New folders have been added in TechData to further help organize the uploaded information

We will have lot more enhancements coming to the site in the next few months

BADGE POINTS AND BADGES

Badge points are calculated based on several factors that determine the QUALITY of the CONTENT entered. It’s an aggregate of data such as number of Likes/Pins to your Thread or your Post, number of unique views, your fixes etc.

The number of badge points determine the badge presented next to your profile. The badge levels are as follows:

Rookie (entry level badge, default for new users)
Advanced
Pro
Expert
Top Gun (highest badge)

Going forward, Badge points will be calculated at end of each month and the badge levels will be updated accordingly on the 1st of every month.

Occasionally we may change the algorithm used to calculate the badge points based on multiple factors, but the algorithm remains the same for all users.
